I came from a musical family. I remember listening to my oldest brother play Joplin, Bach & Beethoven on the piano before I even began my own piano lessons. My father taught himself how to play the piano and the string bass. He played in the local symphony and I have fond memories of attending his Christmas concerts in the old Provo Tabernacle. I began my own piano studies at the age of 8. I graduated from the University of Utah in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance. While attending the University of Utah, I studied with Professor Lenora Ford Brown. I have been teaching piano since 1995. It is a great joy in my life. I love seeing each student progress and am so grateful I have the opportunity to instill in others the love I have for this beautiful instrument.
My beautiful family!
